Travel Q&A: September Sponsors & Giveaway!

Travel Q&A:  I asked all my sponsors this question, "What landmark or attraction would you love to see next and why?" See what answers we all gave and let me know in the comments what your answer would be too!

"I would love to watch the Northern Lights in Scandinavia.  I have heard that Tromso, Norway is the best place to see the Aurora Borealis and so that is definitely on my list. I have always loved Norway since I went to Oslo as a girl and definitely want to go back." - B
"I love to see unusual landmarks, oddities, and museums, such as the grave of the man who invented the word robot (which is in Prague). The one I'd love to see next is the Forevertron in Wisconsin!" - Gladley

"I have never gotten the chance to travel outside of the US. But, one place that is top on my travel list would have to be Venice, Italy! Hopefully I get the chance to travel there sometime in the future!" - The Skinny Student

"Torres del Paine National Park and Patagonia National Park in South America. The panoramic views of the ice fields and the glaciers on the Andes mountains with the crystal blue water under neath are out of this world." - A Broad's World
"The Circle K in Tempe, Arizona has been top of the list for a while, as it's THE Circle K from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. There wouldn't be much to do except buy a drink, take a photo and quote lines from the movie to my embarrassed husband, but they'd probably be the best few minutes of my life." - Little Black Suitcase

"I would love to see the Taj Mahal in India.  We've spent some time exploring Europe now.  I'd love to broaden my horizons and visit someplace more exotic and challenging India.  My husband loves India and I'm eager to explore it with him." - Selena the Places

"I would love to see the Coliseum in Rome -- just for the pure history of it all (plus, I want to go to Italy and eat tons of pizzas and have pasta and gelato and the Lizzie McGuire experience)!" - Chimerikal

"My one dream in life is to explore the countryside of England. I was raised on a strict diet of British comedy which spread into an obsession with all things UK. I've never been to England but believe me that's the first place I plan on going overseas." - Mocha Fox

  1. The Northern Lights are amazing, Bonnie! I saw them every year growing up in Alaska. A definite must! Such a beautiful site to see and experience!

  2. Oh, and I'd love to go to New Zealand and see the beautiful landscapes shown in Lord of the Rings!

  3. Oh I would love to go there too! I'm still kicking myself I did not make it over there when I went to Australia. But just means I can experience it for the first time with Ryan whenever we go. I love Tolkien and those films always blow me away with those picturesque landscapes.

  4. Oh so lucky Tina! I def cannot wait to experience something like that. Alaska is a place I have not been yet and its on my list. My dad went backpacking and kayaking on his own for weeks right up before my wedding and said it was such a beautiful place.

  5. That would be my dream trip. To travel Australia & New Zealand combined! I've got friends in both places that could show me their homeland through their eyes!! Someday hopefully! Probably not any time soon with the cost of tickets and the size of our family. One can dream though!! :)

  6. Oh there's so much in the world I want to see! But on my list for the next year is definitely Patagonia and Rio de Janeiro to experience the Brazilian culture. I also want to head back to Iceland at some point to experience more of it's natural beauty...and the Northern Lights of course!

  7. Oh i know. I really have my heart set on just one more kid (fingers crossed to raise the girl to boy ration in my house) but already with four family members travel prices are doubled from when it was just Ryan and I. I'm thinking the NZ trip will for us def be a once the kids have left the house sort of deal.

  8. That sounds wonderful Kam! I have not yet been to that part of the world and would love to experience the Brazilian culture as well. Oh did you see the posts on Aspiring Kennedy's blog about Iceland...so want to go too!

  9. Hard to chose. But I'd love to see the beaches of Bali. It's cold here in London and by my New York standards, the summer was cold too, so I'm really dreaming of some sun and beach!

  10. That is far too unfair of a question. My list is wayyyy too long at this point. Ask me again in ten years, okay? :o)

    ReplyDelete
  11. hahaha, alright Sarah ;) To be fair I do not think for anyone with a love for travel will ever have a short list.

  12. Bali sounds like a great place to go to for the sunny beaches! I used to live on Hawaii and during our cold days here in England I so miss being able to just be out in the sun for sure. x

  13. I went to Reykjavik a few months ago and was quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it. And I can't wait to head to Brazil...my husband has been twice now and I always get left behind!

  14. Oh thats the worst when your husband has been some place and you haven't...and vice versa. Ryan has been to Japan, Belgium, and Morocco without me in the recent years, but then I've been to Cambodia and Australia without him and then all the places i went while growing up in Europe. It makes us want to travel much more.

  47. I am dying to share an ice cream sundae with my husband at Serendipity in NYC. I know, it's so cheesy because of the movie, but I can't let it go. I think I've convinced him to go to NYC for our 5-year anniversary in March! :)
