Out of Retirement

What a day! After getting up at 0130 and 0330, Ronan let me sleep in until it was past 1000. He took short nap later and then it was time to play. First I needed to vacum the carpet so Ronan didn't put any lint or what not in his mouth. He wasn't quite sure about the vacum cleaner. He started crying and then he would stop and then start again. But soon he was back on the floor with his toys. He had a lot of fun. But I could tell he was very tired. He wasn't going to go down with out a fight though. Eventually I brought the bouncer seat (or his barca lounger as Nonna likes to call it) out of retirement from our storage room. The picture below of him sleeping is too precious for words. I was so excited to take it, but I was hoping the flash wouldn't wake him up. Not to worry, he got a good 45 minute nap in. Tonight he was being really cute with Ryan. He kept smiling at him with that smile he only gives his daddy. He needed a little extra milk before bed and we put him in the bouncer seat. He looked sooo tired. He had his arm up behind his head again. Finally his eyes shut and he drifted off to dreamland. I carried him into his room and Ryan got his blankets. We said goodnight to our little baby and then called it a night.
