...are my two front teeth! Thats right! Ronan's two front teeth are coming in on the top. Ronan had a really fun time at church today. He had fun singing songs and clapping his hands during the worship songs. During the sermon he spent the time playing with the "bigger" kids in the nursery. We came home for lunch and Ronan didn't go down for a nap. In fact his nap came when it was finally time to go to bed for the night. I gave him some numbing stuff for his gums and a little tyenol to help with the cutting of the teeth. He had fun playing this afternoon though, despite any discomfort. In fact it was Daddy and Mummy who were fighting off sleep while he wanted to play with anything in arms reach. He can be quite violent at times with out meaning it. He likes to grab my hair or pull at our bottom lips. Today he even grabbed Ryan's nipple through his shirt....ouch! We made sure to give him lots of tickles for all the pain he put us through. The little guy is also testing out Luv's diapers, instead of pampers. At the commissary they are half the price of what we were buying. Recently I had switched from disposable diapers to the wonderoos he was wearing earlier. We seem to be buying diapers all the time and with having to buy lots of formula now (at $20 a can), Ronan is getting really expensive. Now that he is wanting to eat solid food too, I don't know what we are going to do. He is not even a teenager yet, and he is already eating us out of house and home! I love the little guy though and would do anything for him.
Tonight I was watching the new ep. of desperate House Wives. There was one part where one wife was at a job interview. She ended up having to bring her baby, because her husband's back gave out. Not wanting the baby to jeopardize her chances of landing the job, she left the baby in the care of the young male receptionist. While in the interview she keeps glancing out the office window at her baby. She notices the young man places the baby on his desk and walks away to talk to a pretty girl. The baby is lying on her back, crying, and very near the edge of the desk. I couldn't even watch, and had to turn my eyes away. Now before Ronan came along the scene would not even phase me. But now I see that I immediately see Ronan in that situation. I would never want to see Ronan in that situation or any harm to come to him. I am very protective of my son, and maybe that's why I'm antsy towards who I leave in his care. I have three Dr appointments this week. One he is staying with the woman who is mayor of my neighbourhood. For the other two, I am taking him with me. If my therapist or Dr have a problem with it, well, I hope they won't.
